This thickness of steel provides enough durability and toughness for bohurts and keeps the helmet still reasonably light.
Additional options
The helmet is ready-to-fight with lining, strap system, and chainmail options. It has a comfortable cotton padded liner with foam protection under it, which gives great protection against any strikes.
A fully prepared strap system consists of:
- Back strap (to brigantine/cuirass)
- Chin strap
- Jaw strap (keeps the jaw at a steady distance away from the front of the helmet)
Each element of the helmet is properly adjusted and prepared. Chainmail is riveted, which makes it durable and historically accurate.

- Strap system of 3 different straps,
- 2 vertical black eye bars,
- Riveted black chainmail,
- Hidden plates for additional neck protection,
- Comfortable historical padding with extra foam protection under it.
