Connection of the thigh and knee ensures safety even against the strongest blows. The inner leaf on the knee is a necessity today. Halberds love people without inner leaves :)
The anatomical shape of the thigh allows for a good fit of the armor to the legs. It provides the highest comfort of use and safety.
This shape is suitable both for bohurts and historical reconstruction.
Thighs are made of 1 mm hardened steel, knees of 1.5 mm hardened steel.
