Sword – Type XII (Oakeshott)

Inspired by medieval patterns, this sword is based on Type XII according to Ewart Oakeshott’s typology. The extended fuller improves balance and handling, while the Type I pommel ensures dynamic movement and control.

Durable Construction

The blade is made from hardened spring steel for strength and resilience. The crossguard and pommel are securely mounted to minimize loosening while preserving a historically accurate appearance.

Authenticity & Performance

Drawing from European traditions of the 13th–15th centuries, this sword is ideal for reenactors, athletes, and medieval enthusiasts. Its classic design complements a wide range of armor styles.

Grip & Comfort

The handle is crafted from wood and wrapped in natural leather, providing a secure, ergonomic grip for confident handling during combat.

Scabbard

The scabbard is made from wood and hand-sewn with natural leather, shaped to fit all our one-handed swords. It includes a 3 cm wide belt with a forged steel buckle for convenient carrying.
