Duelling gambeson

Combat gambeson - an essential element for every fighter. It is on the gambeson that you will attach your arm armor, and it is this element of equipment that will absorb the blows from your opponents. You can also use it for training without armor in a soft training formula!

The "Duelling" design is for those who seek maximum mobility and no restriction of movements in duels!

The sleeve design - a gusset under the arm and a cut at the elbow - ensures that you won't feel this gambeson during arm movements!

What is it made of?

Cotton lining - 100% plant-based fabric that allows the body to breathe.

What is the outer material?

You can choose linen - for a historically accurate look, cotton - if you prefer a cheaper option and the historical accuracy aspect is not so important to you, or wool - if you want your gambeson to be softer to the touch and slightly thicker. Wool additionally does not accumulate water - so it is a good option for gambesons.

By default, the fastening of the gambeson consists of hand hemmed holes and ties at 5 points.

What is it filled with?

Cotton filling - this is a natural material and the secret to keeping your body from overheating in combat.

This gambeson is really very thin! It has only one layer of filling.

This makes it practically unsuitable for group fights without additional padding or foam on your armor, but it is perfect wherever every gram of saved weight, incredible speed and no restrictions in movement count - in duels.

How do we make our gambesons?

We use very thick threads for denim - unfortunately, most manufacturers use weak threads for home machines. With industrial machines, we can use threads that are very thick and resistant to breaking.
