Combat Gambeson “Adept”

An essential piece of equipment for every fighter. The gambeson serves as the base layer for your armor, allowing you to attach arm protection while absorbing impacts. It can also be used independently for soft training.

Simple & Beginner-Friendly Design

The “Adept” model is a great choice for those who prefer a simple cut and a more accessible price point. It’s an excellent option for beginners entering medieval combat training.

Extended Protection Option

The longer version of the “Adept” gambeson is especially suitable for buhurt. It works perfectly as a base layer under steel hip protection, slightly limiting movement compared to shorter versions but significantly improving comfort and safety around the hips.

Materials & Options

The inner lining is made from 100% natural cotton, ensuring breathability and comfort.
Outer material options include:
• Linen – for historical accuracy
• Cotton – practical and cost-effective
• Wool – softer, slightly thicker, and moisture-resistant

Standard fastening consists of hand-finished eyelets with ties at 5 points.

Filling Options

Filled with natural cotton to prevent overheating during combat.
• Standard version – 2 layers of cotton mat
• Thick version – additional reinforcement on shoulders, elbows, forearms, hips, spine, and chest (ideal for group fights and soft training)
