A great choice for duelists and grapplers. Wooden bucklers are lighter, less restrictive, and more comfortable when engaging in close combat or wrestling. While they are not designed for heavy striking, they excel in control-based fighting styles.
Reinforced GoHurt Construction
Unlike standard shields, we combine multiple reinforcement methods to ensure durability:
• 8 mm rope glued onto a plywood base
• 2.5–3 mm thick leather glued to the rope and edges
• Additional internal layer creating a composite structure
This construction prevents the common issues seen in other shields — such as crumbling plywood or peeling leather — significantly increasing lifespan.
Durability & Maintenance
Built for intensive use, the structure remains strong over time. Only the outer paint may require occasional refreshing after heavy combat.
Customization
The shield comes unpainted as standard. If you would like a specific color or custom design, please contact us.
