The "Duelist" Armor set is a carefully balanced armor suit, created in the spirit of late-medieval plate craftsmanship.

The weight is evenly distributed across the torso, shoulders, and hips, giving the wearer a surprising sense of lightness. Floating and minimalistic elements allow for fluid movement, keeping the construction slimmer than a full plated armor.

This set represents the union of functionality and artistry: solid riveted construction for durability, graceful contours for aesthetics, and a fit that makes the armor feel like a natural extension of the body. Wearing it evokes the same impression knights once cherished — of stepping into both protection and prestige.

Set includes:

Set does not include:

      ❌ helmet, sabatons, gauntlets, groin protector, buttock armor

Arm armor

Long and very minimalist rerebraces are the essence of this type of armor.

They save on weight and prevent your arms from feeling the weight of the armor. The same can be said about shoulders – these are our smallest spaulders, which significantly reduce the weight of the set.

Forearms are made of overlapping steel plates riveted to a colorful textile.

The elbow protection is made of 1 mm steel. This is up to 30% lighter than classic 1.5 mm elbows and every gram counts for every duelist! The shoulders are made of 1 mm hardened spring steel. The rerebraces are made of 0.8 mm hardened steel.

Coat of plates "Duelist"

This is the absolute minimum body protection. It is fully mobile and extremely light.

As standard, the plates are made of 1 mm thick 50HF steel. We can use 0.5 mm thick steel at your special request if you want them as light as possible. They are hardened and painted with a rust-proof coating. The pattern of the plates can be made according to your design - if you want your own colors, applications, embroidery, or other decorations, please contact us for a quote.

Leg armor

Lightweight, semi-covering cuisses, knees without lames and partial greaves. Ultra light, ultra mobile.

Leg armor is made of 1 mm hardened steel.

The coat of plates cover may include your embroidered coat of arms and any colors and patterns.

How to measure?

When should I send my measurements?

It's best to send us your measurements as soon as the order is placed. We can only guarantee the completion date once we have received your full measurements.

I don't have a gambeson yet. Can I order the armor?

Measurements for armor should be taken over gambeson you will later use. If you want to order everything at once (padded clothes, armor, boots etc.) we can split the shipment of your order into two parts - first with the clothing so that you can take all the necessary measurements for the armor, and the second with the armor when it is ready.

Can I pay in a few installments?

Yes, you can! You can split the payment and pay in two or three installments. In that case, contact us before ordering.

Which armor model should I choose?

I want my colors/logo on the brigantine. Can I have it?

Yes, you can. We can make the brigantine in any color from the palette you want. If you want a different color or your own logo embroidered, feel free to contact us at contact@gohurt-shop.com for a quote.
